The animals were taken to a number of shelters with dozens of agencies and groups aiding with the rescue, placement of the animals and support services, police said. We boarded our 2 dogs this April and were so nervous about leaving them for a week since they have never been away from home. They did great and City Dogs sent us videos and messaged us during the week which made us feel so much better. Due to COVID-19 we have closed traditional office hours.
Sometimes he is done playing in group, and makes his own rules of where to hang out. They let him hang out where he feels comfortable. We offer drop in doggie daycare, no reservations required !

My normally insanely active terrier comes home absolutely exhausted, so I can spend my time doing homework instead of trying to tire her out. I needed a very last minute boarding for my dog and they were more than willing to accommodate quickly and made me feel very comfortable leaving my dog for a few days. They even sent me an update on him (without me asking! 🙂 ) since they knew how nervous I was to leave him. Excellent customer service and most importantly my dog returned to me fed, happy, and with no injuries! I will definitely use City Dogs again for future boarding needs and daycare.
Your dog will spend their days here socializing, romping and playing with friends attended by our caring staff. Then, those staying with us will rest comfortably at night in their own private spaces. We are not a shelter and do not accept animal surrenders at our location, nor do we have adoptable animals onsite. All of our adoptable animals are in private foster homes.

I looked at multiple doggy daycares in the area and decided on City Dogs for a few reasons. No need to book in advance, which allowed me to choose which days to bring her, on the fly. No collars allowed, for the safety of the dogs. Every staff member I have encountered has been friendly, professional and courteous.

City Dogs & City Kitties rescues adoptable dogs and cats in overcrowded and high-kill shelters, where resources are severely limited. They have gone to the trouble of hand feeding our picky German Shepherd one time, nurturing our little Boston who thinks she’s a person… it means the world not to have to worry!
